The Solution
Arçelik-LG implemented Datazone as their central data platform, building a unified manufacturing data foundation in three stages: Collect, Build, and Act. The platform serves as the single source of truth across their operations through:
- Integrated SAP transactional records and MES (manufacturing execution system) data into the Datazone Lakehouse — eliminating SAP as an overloaded data serving layer
- Consolidated all operational data sources into a single, governed schema with no silos, enabling consistent reporting across production, logistics, and finance
- Removed fragile direct connections into SAP for downstream consumers, replacing them with a high-performance, decoupled data foundation that scales independently
- Built clean, versioned data products on top of the lakehouse — enabling internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to self-serve data through a governed access layer
- Established the infrastructure for operational reporting and supply chain visibility without placing additional query load on core ERP systems
